For all emergencies after the close of business, please call the Maryville Police Departments direct number at 618-344-8899. They will be able to help you in getting emergency service from the Water Department.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Maryville Water Department is a division of the Public Works Department.
The Water Clerk takes care of starting new accounts, closing accounts, questions about water / sewer bills, and the monthly billing of accounts. Should you have questions please call the Water Clerk’s office Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, 618-345-7028 ext. 2321.
The Water Department works to ensure that a clean and safe water supply is provided to Maryville residents. Some responsibilities include the operation of the Maryville Water Treatment Facility, maintaining the water distribution system, maintaining the sewer collection system, monthly collection of water meter readings, fire hydrant maintenance and flushing.
Water Account Turn On
Water account turn ons will take place between 7:00am and 3:00pm on normal business days. 3:00pm will be the last time during the normal business day that a water account will be turned on for service. If the 3:00pm time has passed, we will then turn your account on during the next normal business day.
